The David Pieris Group officially launched DPG STEP (Sustain • Track • Empower • Progress), its Group-wide Sustainability Strategy and Framework, at the Group Auditorium in Bandaragama. The launch marks a significant milestone in the Group's sustainability journey towards achieving its Net Zero 2040 Vision.

The framework was unveiled in the presence of Mr. Rohana Dissanayake, Group Chairman and Managing Director, together with members of the Group's top management.

DPG STEP provides a clear roadmap for integrating sustainability into every aspect of the Group's operations. More than a strategy, it reflects the David Pieris Group's long-term commitment to creating value for people, the planet and the economy while building a stronger, more resilient business.

The framework outlines the collective responsibilities of employees across the Group. Sustainability Champions will lead the implementation of STEP within their respective companies by driving sustainability initiatives, coordinating ESG data collection and conducting quarterly audits.

Housekeeping Presidents will oversee the implementation of the Group's Sustainability Guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within their facilities, ensuring that sustainability standards are maintained consistently. Every employee is encouraged to embrace sustainable practices, support ESG initiatives and contribute through everyday actions that create a lasting positive impact.

The Group's sustainability progress will be measured through ESG Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), performance dashboards, quarterly reviews and annual Group audits, enabling continuous improvement and ensuring progress towards the 2028 Sustainability Milestones, 2030 Sustainability Targets and the Net Zero 2040 Vision.
