The Quality Functions Division of the David Pieris Group organised the Awareness, Compliance & DPG Good Practices Training Programme brought together approximately 70 outsourced service providers, including company owners and responsible representatives.
The programme was designed to strengthen awareness of the legal, statutory, contractual and operational responsibilities of DPG’s outsourced service providers. It also provided a common platform to share DPG’s expectations on compliance, quality, health and safety, environmental management, human resources, security, finance and administration, sustainability and other workplace requirements.
A range of important topics were covered during the programme, including Labour Laws and Wages Board Requirements, Legal Responsibilities of Contractors, Environmental and Waste Management, Human Resources Practices, Health & Safety, Security Requirements, Workers’ Compensation Insurance (WCI), Sustainability and Finance & Administration Requirements. A panel discussion also provided an opportunity for participants to clarify key issues and exchange views on practical workplace requirements.
The programme focused on promoting compliance, accountability and continual improvement among outsourced service providers while encouraging sustainable and responsible business practices. It also reinforced the importance of maintaining consistent standards across DPG workplaces and ensuring that service providers understand and fulfil their responsibilities.
The programme served as a valuable platform to strengthen collaboration between DPG and its outsourced service providers while reinforcing a shared commitment to compliance, safety, quality, sustainability and responsible business practices.
